ANSWERS:
- 30, 09,053
- Time taken to travel 6 km = 1 hour
Time taken to travel 42km = 42/6 = 7 hours - Cost of 1 table fan = 1025 rupees
Cost of 3 table fan = 1025 x 3 = 3075 rupees
Amount Niya had = 3000 rupees
She can’t buy 3 table fans for Rs 3000. - The cost of 1 kg sardines = 70 rupees
Cost of 4 kg sardines = 70 x 4 = 280 rupees
She can buy 4 kg sardines with 300 rupees.
Money remain with her = 300 – 280 = 20 rupees - Cost of 1kg onion = 75 rupees
Cost of 3 kg onion = 75 x 3 = 225 rupees
Cost of 500g onion = 75/2 = 37.5 rupees
Total cost = 225 + 37.5 = 262.5 rupees - Cost of 1 kg fresh fish = 100 rupees
Cost of 1 kg dry fish = 150 rupees
Cost of 500g fresh fish = 50 rupees
Cost of 2 kg dry fish = 150 x 2 = 300 rupees
Total amount = 50 + 300 = 350 rupees - Perimeter of a square = 4 x side = 4 x 6 = 24 rupees
- Given l = 10cm and b= 7cm
Perimeter = 2 x (l +b) = 2 x (10 + 7) = 2 x 17 = 34 cm - Perimeter = 3 x side = 3 x 3.5 = 10.5 cm
- Given l = 9m and b = 4m
Area = l x b = 9 x 4 = 36 sq.metre
Cost of cementing = 36 x 50 = 1800 rupees - a) 210, 205, 200, 195
b) 33, 43, 53, 63
c) 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75 - Part of cake ate in the morning = 2/8
Part of cake ate in the evening = 3/8
Total = 2/8 + 3/8 = 5/8 - a) Nearest tens = 7360
Nearest hundreds = 7400
Nearest thousands = 7000
b) Nearest tens = 3890
Nearest hundreds = 3900
Nearest thousands = 4000 - 1000 + 7800 = 8800
- Multiples of 6 are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, 60, 66, 72…..
Multiples of 9 are 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90…………….
Common Multiples are 18, 36, 54, 72……….
LCM = 18 - Factors of 24 are 1, 24, 2, 12, 3, 8, 4, 6
Factors of 36 are 1, 36, 2, 18, 3, 12, 4, 9, 6
Common factors are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12
HCF = 12 - a) 650 – 382 = 268
b) 200 – 75 = 125
c) 21, 26 - 4326 + 1254 = 5580
5580 – 2535 = 3045 - Distance travelled in 3 hours = 105 km
Distance travelled in 1 hour = 105/3 = 35 km - Cost of one fish tank = 2825 rupees
Cost of 2 fish tanks = 2825 x 2 = 5650 rupees
So Anu can buy 2 fish tanks.
Money remaining with her = 6000 – 5650 = 350 rupees
