Ratio is 50: 200 = 50/200 = ¼ = 1: 4 - 1 hour = 60 minutes
Ratio is 15: 60 = 15/60 = 1/4 = 1: 4 - Total number of students = 35
Number of boys = 20
Number of girls = 35 – 20 = 15
Ratio of number of girls to total number of students = 15:35 = 15/35 = 3/7 = 3: 7 - Sum of parts = 2 + 3 = 5
Anu’s share = 200 x (2/5) = 400/5 = 80 rupees
Sonu’s share = 200 x (3/5) =600/5 = 120 rupees - The cost of 5 packets of chocolates = 400 rupees
Cost of 1 packet of chocolates = 400/5 = 80 rupees
Cost of 8 packets of chocolates = 80 x 8 = 640 rupees
